The Urban Winery is a winery and wine-making experience that will take you to a whole new place and mindset towards tine tasting. More than 30 wines are crafted here, right in the Silver Spring Maryland community and each one is unique in taste, body, and flavor. Wine tasting is so much more than just drinking it (although I think we all agree that’s the best part), it’s also about learning and creating.

The Urban Winery offers wine tours for you and your party to book ahead of time, and this includes a more in-depth look into the wines you taste and how they get the flavors that they do. If you’re really interested in winemaking and tasting, you can also sign up for one of their wine creating classes, which allows you to actually create your own signature wine as well! 

Wine tasting has never been more fun. Some of the wine varieties included in the wine tasting flights include white cranberry pinot gris, rose, silver spring red, blueberry pinot noir, and classic Syrah. All of which are grown, crushed, and fermented right here in Silver Spring, MD.
